The community places heavy emphasis on open-source: everyone is welcome to join and contribute. The purpose of Research & Investment is to analyze and ideate the most promising treatments to hair loss, reach out to potential investment opportunities (researchers, companies, and labs), make investment recommendations to the HairDAO community, and execute deals on behalf of the HairDAO community. Relevant experience includes biological research and investment due diligence.
The purpose of Awareness is to grow the meme of HAIR by any and all means of communication, including but not limited to short-form social media, long-form content production, and in-person information distrubtion. Relevant skills include writing, design, film and audio production and editing, public speaking, and other content creation.
The purpose of Strategy & Governance is to develop a cohesive financial and operational strategy for the DAO. Strategy & Governance members must have contributed to the DAO for at least three months, and can be removed by HAIR holders at any time. The group’s responsibility is to propose strategies for the allocation of the Treasury, including the DAO’s research assets, tangential technology development, and working capital. The group must ratify the ultimate decisions of HAIR holders as the signers of the Treasury’s wallet.
The purpose of Technical Development is to optimize HairDAO’s operations with technology. Relevant skills include full-stack programming, data engineering and science, design, and international healthcare and incorporation legal expertise.

Rolando is an entrepreneur, scientist and engineer with a PhD and MS in bioengineering from Stanford University. Trained in synthetic biology, Rolando approaches problems and innovations from a first-principles physics and computational perspective.
Dr. Alan J. Bauman, MD, ABHRS, IAHRS, FISHRS is a full-time hair transplant surgeon who founded his medical practice, Bauman Medical, in Boca Raton, FL in 1997 and has treated well over 30,000 patients, performed over 12,000 hair transplant procedures as well as over 10,000 regenerative procedures (ie. PRP, Cell Therapy and more) to date.
Sminempepe is an Electrical and Electronics Engineering student with a passion for blockchain technology and Web3, working in the crypto industry since 2019. He oversees internal operations, public communications, and data accumulation for AI models at HairDAO.

Jesse Hudson serves as general counsel for Molecule GmbH, the creators of the DeSci movement. He is also a core and legal team member of both HairDAO and VitaDAO. Jesse played a key role in architecting the IP-NFT infrastructure that HairDAO and all DeSci DAOs will use.
